Workplace mediation is an effective and economical way of resolving workplace disputes.

A wide range of issues which lead to conflict can arise in the workplace. The list set out here is not exhaustive but give a flavour of the type of issues which arise and can be resolved through mediation.

Interpersonal disputes between work colleagues or management and staff often lead to situations where solution focused discussion is needed. Performance issues may sometimes lead to problematic relationships in the workplace. Both such scenarios may be difficult to resolve. Discussion is sometimes difficult to initiate in a manner which is likely to bring about resolution and this is where mediation can prove to be beneficial to all parties.

In other circumstances, some allegations of bullying or harassment may be suitable for resolution through mediation.

Organisational change and communication are also issues which can cause conflict in the workplace.  Pamela can assist in re-establishing a good working environment through mediation or individual conflict management coaching.

Mediation will provide a confidential and safe environment for the parties to air their issues and concerns and to explore how their needs can be addressed, while protecting the valuable working relationship.

Conflict management coaching is a very useful tool which can assist individuals to recognise triggers, understand perspectives and manage their engagement in dialogue more productively.
